Files set up right print right. Follow these specs and your job moves straight to press. Not sure? Upload anyway, because we check every file by hand, free.

Accepted formats

Press quality PDF is best. We also accept AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF, JPG, and PNG. Word and PowerPoint files are accepted but will be converted, so expect minor shifts.

Resolution

300 DPI at final print size. Large format products such as banners and signs can be 100 to 150 DPI at full size. Screenshots and web images at 72 DPI will look blurry in print.

Colour

Design in CMYK. RGB and Pantone files are converted automatically and may shift slightly. For large black areas use rich black: C60 M40 Y40 K100.

Bleed and safe zone

Extend background art 0.125 inches (3mm) past the trim edge on all sides. Keep text and logos at least 0.125 inches inside the trim. For booklets, keep them 0.25 inches inside.

Fonts and lines

Outline (convert to curves) or embed all fonts. Minimum line weight is 0.25pt and minimum text size is 6pt, or 8pt for reversed white text.
