About Foamcore Boards
Foamcore boards are the go-to indoor sign when you need something rigid, flat and light enough to carry with one hand. Print It On prints your design in full colour in Winnipeg and mounts it on 3/16 inch foamcore, also called foam board, so it stands on an easel or hangs on a wall without bending or curling.

Sizes
Choose a ready size: 11 x 17, 18 x 24, 24 x 36 or 36 x 48 inches. Or enter your own size, with a width from 6 to 48 inches and a height from 6 to 96 inches. Very large boards are priced by quote. Order one board for a single event or a set for a whole venue.
Board and easel options
3/16 inch white foamcore: the classic choice with bright white edges.
3/16 inch black foamcore: black edges that look neat on dark designs and photos.
Easel back: no easel, or a fold-out easel back in 9 inch or 18 inch, so the foamcore sign stands on its own on a table or counter.
How to order
There are three ways to get your artwork ready:
Design online: press Design Online on this page to open our free designer with templates made for your size. Change the text, add your logo and photos, and you are done.
Upload your file: already have artwork? Press Upload My File. We check every file for free before it prints, and you can ask for a proof before printing at checkout.
Ask us to design it: no design yet? Our in-house design team can make your sign for you. Request a quote and tell us what you need.
Turnaround, pickup and shipping

Frequently asked questions
Can foamcore boards go outside?
We do not recommend it. Foamcore is made for indoor use: rain, humidity and wind will damage it. For outdoor signs, lawn signs and vinyl banners are the better choice.
How thick is the foam board?
3/16 of an inch. That is stiff enough to stay flat on an easel and light enough to hang with removable strips.
What is an easel back?
A fold-out stand fixed to the back of the board, so it stands up on a table or counter without a separate easel. Choose 9 inch or 18 inch on this page.
White or black foamcore?
Both look the same from the front. The difference is the edge: white suits light designs, black looks cleaner on dark ones.
File requirements
- Accepted formats: PDF, AI, PNG and JPG
- Pictures at 300 DPI at the printed size print sharpest
- Add 1/4 in of bleed on every side
- We check every file before it prints
